Can Votel integrate with my other CRM or software that has no built-in integration?

Yes. Usually it is not a question of if, only how, and you do not need to know how to code, because the AI assistant can build the integration for you. Your options:

  1. Ask the AI assistant. It has its own sandbox computer where it can write, run and host code, install tools for different programming languages and use a terminal. Give it the other tool's API documentation (a link works, or paste it in) and describe what you want, for example "here is the API, every time there is a service request, create a new ticket there" or "post every new lead to my CRM". Then tell it to test the integration. For a bigger project, you can first have ChatGPT research and write a master plan, then paste the plan into the assistant.
  2. Webhook (data in): in a workflow, the Webhook trigger gives you a unique URL. Give it to the other system so it can post data into Votel.
  3. API step (data out, or pulling data): the API step in a workflow can push data to, or pull data from, any third-party API (GET, POST and so on). The AI assistant can create and set up this step for you.
  4. Execute Code step: for complex cases, a workflow can run custom code in several languages, starting with Python. You pick the server level, it can install packages and has terminal access, and developers get a full development environment. You are charged only while the code runs, and most small API calls take fractions of a second.
  5. Web Apps: for anything bigger, a custom code app can have its own database and its own API and integrate with other APIs.
  6. MCP: if the other system has an MCP server, connect it to the AI assistant under Assistant settings, then Connectors.
  7. Votel's open API: the other system can create leads, sync contacts and more in Votel.

Real examples: rent reminders, where the list of late tenants is pulled from a property management system and each tenant gets an AI call, and a 24/7 repair line that captures the caller's issue and posts it to the property management system. AI agents can connect to tools such as Housecall Pro, QuickBooks or a clinic's records system the same way. Calendar integrations can be harder, because availability has to be checked.

Votel recommends meeting your clients where they are. If a client already uses another CRM, supplement it rather than replacing it: work out the minimum information you need (for example name and phone number for billing reminders), get that data into Votel, and start with AI calling or reminders. Some clients prefer to be hands off and just get results, such as an email for each new lead or calls forwarded to their cell phone. If you plan to sell one snapshot to every customer in a niche, keep it simple and do not tie it to one customer's CRM, since the next customer may use a different one.
